Year-End Overseas Exhibition Calendar: electronica 2026 and CES 2027, Two Highlights for Going Global

electronica 2026 in Munich this November and CES 2027 in Las Vegas next January have both confirmed their dates. Focused respectively on the electronics supply chain and consumer technology, the two shows are key targets for Chinese electronics, smart manufacturing and consumer brands expanding overseas.

As the fourth quarter begins, the overseas exhibition market is heading into two major events. For Chinese companies with global ambitions, now is the critical window to start booth planning and logistics scheduling.

electronica 2026: Munich, November 10–13

Founded in 1964, electronica is the world's largest and most influential trade fair for electronic components, held every two years. This edition will take place from November 10 to 13, 2026 at Messe München, Germany, under the theme "Empowering the All Electric Society."

According to the organizer, this edition will use all 18 halls of Messe München, while the co-located SEMICON Europa will occupy 2.5 halls, with the semiconductor area gaining an entire additional hall. The fair will focus on three main themes: artificial intelligence, network resilience and energy efficiency. A new on-site zone, "edge lab LIVE," will debut this year, focusing on the practical implementation of edge computing through workshops and lectures.

Referring to previous editions, electronica 2024 welcomed more than 3,480 exhibitors and over 80,000 professional visitors from around the world. In terms of exhibitor mix, the European presence is strong, while participation from U.S. and Asian companies is equally active.

CES 2027: Las Vegas, January 6–9

CES, organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), is one of the world's most influential technology events. CES 2027 will be held from January 6 to 9, 2027 in Las Vegas, with venues including the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), The Venetian Expo and ARIA.

The figures from CES 2026 demonstrate the scale and value of this platform: more than 4,100 exhibitors (including around 1,200 startups), over 148,000 attendees (including more than 55,000 international participants), more than 60 percent of Fortune 500 companies represented, and over 6,900 international media and industry analysts.

Notably, the organizer has already launched global roadshows ahead of CES 2027: CES Asia Unveiled will be held in mid-October in Seoul, Korea (October 13–16) and Hong Kong, China (October 14–16, during the Hong Kong Electronics Fair), and CES Unveiled Milan will take place on October 21 in Milan, Italy.

Three Tips for Exhibiting Overseas

For these two shows, we recommend exhibitors begin preparations early:

  1. Schedule and logistics first: Peak season on Europe and North America routes falls in November and December. Exhibits and construction materials should be produced and shipped at least six to eight weeks in advance, with time reserved for customs clearance;
  1. Compliance first: European and North American venues have clear requirements for structural safety, electrical codes, material fire ratings and waste disposal. Prepare technical documentation alongside concept design;
  1. Structure reuse: If you plan to attend multiple overseas shows within a year, combining a modular core structure with localized graphics can reduce overall costs and shorten on-site construction time.
